  • t-news : Graphic Tees by Soleil Noir

    26 Aug 2015 | 4:24 am
Soleil Noir was founded by Sanja Karic, a designer who used to dream of life as a constant journey. She is now living between France and the Balkans, making this journey a dream come true. Soleil Noir is the product of a personal expression inspired by vintage culture. It recalls the literature, photography, fine art of the late 19th and 20th centuries, and the great artists who left their prints on our culture. The name of the brand itself has been inspired by the poem El Desdichado (The Disinherited) by the poète maudit Gerard de Nerval, and the words “Ma seule étoile est morte, - et…

It’s summertime, which means warm nights, summer romance, and of course movies in the park. What qualifies a movie for prime park viewing? There are no hard and fast rules, but certain movies have an appeal that can be broadly appreciated in an outdoor setting. Loud audience participation makes some movies better suited for outdoor viewing. Movies that take place outside or during the summer months are also contenders. We’ve gathered a handful of very popular “Movies in the Park” films that you shouldn’t miss. The Sandlot Baseball, summer vacation, childhood,…

Now a classic mob film, Scarface wasn’t always as well-received. There was criticism around nearly every aspect of the film that made it great: graphic hard drug use, over the top violence, the portrayal of Cubans, and coarse foul language all made a bitter pill for many people to swallow. But we survived through the chainsawing, the cocaine facials, and more profanity than the Big Lebowski. And what about the guns! So many great guns were used in this film. In fact there’s even one gun with an extra part bolted on that was put to work in another famous movie. More on that in a bit, but…

The ’80s was a golden era for cinema. So many things that we take for granted today, from memes to favorite movie quotes, originated between 1980 and 1989. It was a beautiful time: political correctness was just a rumor and everything was fair game. The Internet hadn’t yet carved us out into our own little opinion islands, and you could get away with endangering kids and calling them inappropriate things to their face. Here’s our favorite movies that wouldn’t be made today. Heathers Sweet jumping jacks, there’s no way this movie would get made today. Murder of high…

  • Officially Licensed Carl Sagan T-shirts from UnderRepped

    Cosmin Mihai
    27 Aug 2015 | 7:33 am
UnderRepped Apparel prepared a special surprise for those space fans who dream of exploring the cosmos. They just released 2 amazing Carl Sagan t-shirts which you can wear on Carl Sagan Day (November 9) and celebrate the beauty of science and skepticism. Carl Sagan, astronomer, communicator, author, intellectual, and skeptic, was a personification of all the things that we love about science, skepticism, and humanity. He sought to understand our universe and to communicate that understanding to the rest of us. He was an inspiration to so many, an embodiment of what a great skeptic can be. To…
  • Welcome to Rapture: Bioshock T-shirts

    Cosmin Mihai
    27 Aug 2015 | 5:57 am
I played Bioshock back when it was first released and I was blown away, it’s a phenomenal game. I just loved the intriguing story and how you didn’t had to just sit and listen. Rapture’s mysteries are unveiled while you do other parts of the game and comes in the form of audiotapes that you find while exploring. It never gets boring to find out interesting information about the game’s world and setting. Sadly the first Bioshock game is the only one I played so I can’t tell you guys how the other installments are. I assume they’re at least as good as this…
  • The Search Continues: Finding Dory T-Shirts

    Saso
    27 Aug 2015 | 2:05 am
I was a big fan of Finding Nemo when it came out. I particularily liked Dory, the fish who couldn’t form any long term memories, which made for some great comedic scenes. I like Ellen DeGeneres anyway, I think she’s very funny in a very natural unforced way, so when I heard that Finding Dory is going to be released as a sequel to Finding Nemo I was over the moon. But what can we actually expect from the movie? Well as they said at a recent Expo in Brazil, in Finding Dory, Dory will actually be looking for herself in a way. Or at least for her origins. Dory, Marlin and Nemo will…

I guess you guys have run across a Notorious R.G.B. tee with the face of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg printed on it and probably wondered who made it and where you can actually buy it. In case you were to shy to ask the guy or gal who wore it, I’ll tell you who came up with the idea and where you can buy one. LookHuman.com‘s artists are the geniuses behind all of those amazingly hilarious Ruth Bader Ginsburg t-shirts, in other words, they essentially created the Notorious RBG concept. Together with ActivateApparel and MericaMade, LookHuman is part of Print…

What happens when EDM meets Star Wars? A neon dance battle, that what! So if you’re a fan of Star Wars and/or Daft Punk, you’re gonna love this radically funky video created by InfectiousDesigner. It’s called Darth Punk: The Funk Awakens and it’s a hella fun! One day Vader and Fett will recruit for the dark side, disguised as an electronic music duo… they will be arresting ears and administering intergalactic rhythm and beats. The Rebels won’t stand a chance. This is their music video, featuring ‘Dj Gonk’. The Funk Awakens is what happens when you mix ’80s…

  • Wildlife Charity Tee from Raccoon Brand

    Tee Reviewer
    6 Aug 2015 | 6:41 am
I guess this t-shirt is a response to the killing of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe by an American dentist. It’s a cute design from Raccoon brand that I’m sure would be popular even if it weren’t a charity tee. Which it is. 100% of the profits from the sale of this T-shirt will be donated to the Wildlife Charity of your choice. PLEASE add the name and preferably the website of your favorite Wildlife Charity to the “Special Instructions” box after you add this T-shirt to your shopping cart (BEFORE clicking the “checkout” button). Donations will be made to…

Spoiler Tees is an online t-shirt store specializing in t-shirts with designs that contain spoilers for various movies and TV shows. Spoiler Tees (established just this year!) is an online store dedicated to making sure that everybody around you is absolutely miserable. We have a love/hate relationship with movie and TV spoilers – so as an interesting social experiment* we thought “Why not put this shit onto shirts and see what happens?” Spoiler Tees T-Shirt Review It’s a medium-sized black 100% cotton t-shirt manufactured by Anvil in Haiti. The Anvil label is still…

I believe Symbolika is an Israel-based t-shirt store as that’s where the t-shirt was shipped from, though they may be in Goa, India. From previous communications I know they had a design studio in Goa at one point and their Twitter says they are in Goa. The t-shirt was made in France. (Update: Made in Trance. That’s the slogan. Silly me!) Symbolika doesn’t believe in borders! Here’s what they have to say: Since 2001, symbolika is dedicated to producing highly unique, experimental visionary and psychedelic artworks inspired by shamanic experiences, infused with…

  • Marketing in 2016: What do we expect?

    The Printsome Team
    27 Aug 2015 | 10:22 am
Does anybody know how marketing is going to be in 2016? Probably not, not even the best marketers out there. We have our thoughts, we reckon what’s going to happen, but there’s no way we certainly know as a fact that ducks are going to replace cats as the Internet’s official animal, nor that super interactive infographics will be the future of content marketing. However, we somehow do need to know in advance so we can design and plan our marketing strategies. How do we do it? We observe, analyse and then we guess. Plain and simple. So after we started a discussion here at…

  • Branded Content: The Future of Marketing

    Luca Giraudo
    26 Aug 2015 | 9:19 am
I remember growing up the only type of advertisement was the typical advert showing the use of a product and a celebrity or somewhat famous character reading a monologue convincing us to buy said product. Nowadays, those adverts are deemed obsolete and advertising has turned the page to branded content. Oh, how times have changed! The idea of branded content was generated about a decade back but only recently has it been taking the world by storm. There has been an increase in frequency of usage of this idea. From startups to big brands, there is an increase in brands that are now switching…
  • The Biggest Kids T-shirt Printing Failures

    Jorge Melo
    25 Aug 2015 | 10:10 am
Warning: parental guidance required. Is your kid’s t-shirt x-rated? Kids t-shirt printing goes horribly wrong in Asia If you’re a responsible parent who speaks and understands the English language your kids are probably wearing t-shirts with wholesome, healthy slogans like ‘I’m the little brother’ or ‘Fairy princess’. But what if they’re not? Kids t-shirt printing has got out of hand in Asia with even babies wearing t-shirts with offensive slogans. We’ve seen kids wearing t-shirts with slogans like ‘Skool sucks’, B is for ‘Beer’, ‘I get…
