  • Design Placement for Screen Printing

    23 Apr 2014 | 6:05 am
Hi I've been silkscreen printing through a third party for a number of years and I have never really settled on the exact placement of a design printed (when on front of shirt) By this I mean, for an A4 print (portrait) I usually print 5cms from the bottom of the neckline. Recently I have started printing 7cms for 2XL and up (because the design sits too high on big guys) My question: Is there a standard measurement for printing designs on the front of the shirt for a) portraint b) landscape c) letterbox designs (font) or is it a matter of preference? Cheers Tshirt Terrorist

We have a few things we'd like to ask you...The tough questions:  When the keyboard cat messes up, who plays him off? Is it a Rick Roll if you go out and look for a Rick Roll? Could it be possible that the honey badger cares about maintaining his carefree image?  When the internet tires of Grumpy Cat, how do they express their disdain? What do you call an LOL cat that does not provoke vocal laughter? If you set out and succeed in achieving an epic fail, do you call it an epic success? When the fox speaks, do we really listen? Please post responses in the comments.

Fan FicMr. White's looking a little blue.Look, I like special ingredients, yo! I never made a secret about that. I used to put chili powder in. Then I got this new partner, and he was all about chemistry and rules and he was like, no more chili p! I just hate that crap. It's like, you might know science but I know the customers, right? And they all said the chili p was da bomb! So once my new partner gave me his new formula, I decided to add a new special ingredient to give it that personal touch: him. That's right, I said, "Sorry Mr. White, but it's time to change your name." And he was…

The ProcessYou can get exactly what you want! So, you want to ensure that you get the exact shirts you want while we're selling random two packs? Well, there's a way. Here's what you do: Write each letter of your first girlfriend or boyfriend's name on pieces of paper, fold them up, and put them in a hat. If you don't have a first girlfriend or boyfriend, go online and get one. It's super easy… I've heard.  Pull out a letter. If it is a consonant, proceed. If it is a vowel, burn all the pieces of paper, wait an hour, and begin again at step one (this part takes forever to me, since my…

The Linden Forest is the brainchild of its artist, Philip Smith. All of his artistic inspiration comes from his childhood home, which was located deep in the woods. Often at night he would hear raccoons or possums and during the day would encounter a variety of different animals. His memories of these animals are expressed through his drawings. He does not do any rough drafts because an original captures that much more feeling. Philip’s background is in music and has also done t-shirt designs for many popular bands including his most recent collaboration with Switch foot. The artwork is…

London UK: St George’s Day T-shirts or T-shirts that celebrate England and all who live there are the subject of this weeks #TshirtTuesday collection. As always the collection has been picked with the theme in mind and, as always, for your t-shirt design and printing inspiration. St George’s day is the national day of England but unfortunately for you and me, not a public holiday. Because of this, St George’s day celebrations are often low key and sometimes forgotten altogether in England. St George however, was a busy chap and it seems his stories of slayed dragons and sweet maidens…
